America...keep the dream
It's almost the 4 th of July...Independence Day for our great nation. We are a great and powerful nation because we are a nation of dreamers with a work ethic... At it's best, America is a nation of heroes - a group of individuals with a love and respect for his or her fellow man, in pursuit of a better life, a happier life, living without hate or ill will for others around us. The American Dream was outlined for us all in the brilliant document written by our founding fathers...set permanently in the written word at the birth of the greatest nation - greatness not based in military might nor riches, but rather great and rich because our spirit was steeped in God-loving, God-fearing humanistic ideals that would preserve the freedom for each individual, equal under the law,to pursue one's own independent version of this Dream, provided the pursuance of such did not tread or impose on the liberties of another... As we near the celebration of another year, let us not forget where we came from as a nation... let us not forget that the acquisition and sustenance of our personal liberties came at a price, and remains costly. We must continue to work, and work hard, to nourish and feed and strengthen our bodies, our minds, and our communities - We the People, make up our nation...not some ambiguous "government"...We the People. We must take ownership once again, take responsibility, care for each other, inspire and enrich each other using the talents and the skills God has given each of us...We will persevere and we can sustain...together, with great effort...be strong, work hard, work smart. Build your body, and your life, with pride...and be thankful for the ability to improve. I wanted to share this video - you gotta watch it to the end...it's only about 7 minutes long. http://www.youtube.com/v/QZFkZiwMLZ4 Pete

But don't take my word for it - come into our home, and become a part of what we're building! My name is Pete Ciccone, and I am the owner of 619 MUSCLE. In July of 2006, Meriza and I began building our store, our home, with the vision of creating a place of positive energy and love for the art and science of what we call High Performance Living - getting the most out of each and every minute. Together with my training partner, IFBB Pro Derik Farnsworth, we celebrate the power of the Fitness Triad - the 3 components of healthy living - Nutrition, Exercise, Healthy Supplementation - we use these 3 tools to help our customers, our family members achieve their goals and then set new ones. Our clients and customers are diverse - both in age, in occupation, in lifestyle and in fitness level - we care for moms and businessmen, collegiate athletes and baby boomer athletes, professional bodybuilders and figure athletes and general fitness enthusiasts, individuals seeking serious weight loss and those seeking to build more muscle - but one thing all of our family members share is THE BRUTAL TRUTH - they share a passion, an honesty, and integrity. Each and everyone of our family members knows that the only way to success is through hard work, smart work, consistency, and the ability to look at oneself in the mirror and be honest enough to assess both strengths and weaknesses...physical, mental and emotional. In other words, each of our 619 family is truly hardcore!
That's why at 619 MUSCLE, we truly are the Essence of Hardcore. Come visit us - there is no other store like us!

Team 619 Muscle, in the house, had a great presence once again! Big Lou Uridel rocked the house, with his "619...619...619" posing routine...awesome brother! Rory Love presented his best condition yet, earning a hard won 5th in the master's division. Way to go! Great job, superstars! Also in the house, friend 0f 619, and Boston boy and oh - 2-time Mr. Olympia, Big Jay Cutler, tore the roof of the house as guest poser! Jay is proof-positive that hard work and focus, consistent effort toward your goal can and do lead to success! After rockin' the stage, jumping down into the packed audience and posing his heart out for the fans, Jay grabbed the mike from MC Mike Stohle, and addressed the crowd. Jay gave his sincere thanks for the support of his fans (dedicated as we all are!) and also left the crowd with the message that dreams really can and do come true, if you stick to your guns and don't ever lose sight of your goals.
